Delft is known for its canals, churches and hand painted china. This is the Oude Kerk. Built in the 13th century, the tower leans precariously. There has been a church on this site since 1050 although this building dates from 1246.

This is the Prisenhof Museum. It was a 15th century convent that once was the residence of William the Silent who was assassinated here. The museum is about the Dutch independence struggle from Spain.

Flat Stanleys in fron of the Stadhuis (Town Hall) that was built in 1618. Weddings are held here and we got to see a couple having their wedding pictures being taken.

Delft is known for its hand painted blue and white china. Only china hand painted in Delft can be called Delft china.

Another wooden shoe that was way too big for the boys!

The stain glass windows in the Oude Kerk depict Dutch history. The original windows were destroyed by the explosion in a powder magazine in 1654 when 45,000 kilograms of gun powder blew up.
