Tuesday, April 19 - Flat Stanleys at Keukenhof

The Flat Stanleys saw these wooden shoes at Keukenhof. They decided that this pair was a little too big for them!

This windmill was just their size. There was a collection of miniature windmills inside the "big" windmill at Keukenhof.

The "boys" went to the top of the windmill so they could see the flower fields of tulips.

They enjoyed seeing the flowers at Keukenhof Gardenns. It is owned by the Dutch Bulb Growers and is a 70 acre garden and planted with over 7,000,000 bulbs. The garden is the largest in the world and was started in 1949. The name means "kitchen garden" and is located on what was the kitchen garden of a 15th century countess.

The tulip fields next to Keukenhof Gardens.

Some more of the flowers in the garden.

Flat Stanleys from their favorite perch in my backpack. They don't want to miss any sights while on their adventure. They are meeting a lot of people who want to know about them and also take their pictures. It is a good thing they aren't bashful!!!!
