Day 5 - Salzburg

We woke to beautiful blue skies &t ALPS. Happy we were able to see the peaks before we left! Took a train ride to Munich & then transferred to go to Salzburg, about a 4 hour hour journey in total.

SALZBURG

 These brass plates are called stumble stones. They are placed in front of homes where Jews lived before they were taken away & show date of birth, where taken & when killed if known.

We got lost several times, luckily this particular time we had dropped the luggage off at hotel

so they were able to smile....although we were hungry for lunch as after 3:00.

 How do you like the latest in Alpine fashion? May not be able to tell from picture, but the male mannequin has a green checked shirt & matching green checked sunglasses!
