Canmore & Banff National Park

On Thursday we had a lazy day, visiting the quilt & yarn shop in Canmore, the grocery store and wildlife viewing (although none of the four legged type were found).

Today we went to Banff National Park. First stop was Minnewanka Lake, also called the Lake of Water Spirits. After that we drove to town where we tried a Beaver Tail....yum. We visited the Banff Park Museum where there were lots of stuffed animals that we should be able to see in the park....but haven't. After lunch, we went to the Luxor Buffalo Nations Museum.  We then went to Bow Falls, Tunnel Mountain to see the hoodoos and the Vermillion Lakes Drive.
